The Ibn Battuta Mall is quite far from Downtown Dubai, but a visit there is certainly worth it. The Mall is divided in 7 sections, each representing a country or culture that the moroccan-berber explorer Ibn Battuta visited (Egypt, China, India, Persia, Tunisia and Andalusia). The decorations and theme of each section are amazing (from the giant ship in the... More

I really enjoyed just walking around the mall and taking photos of the different sections inspired by different countries around the world! Mostly Asian, African and Middle-Eastern!

Recently I went to IBN Batuta Mall to watch a movie. It was the first time I was going to the mall and I thought it would an ordinary standard mall just like the many other commercialised ones but when I entered I saw the beautiful designs and references to the cultures of 4 different countries namely Egypt, India, Iran... The mall is based on traveler a historian IBN BATUTTA 's journey of seven countries. It is well spread out as everything is on ground floor.you can different cultures put together.A little dull .you can take a metro to this mall .you will see some part of DUBAI .Metro travels at a height giving unobstructed view.

On a smaller scale to the main Dubai Malls but a really well laid out place and the architecture and country themed items are lovely to look at. Good variety of shops and restaurants but my favourite part of the day was meeting a wonderful gentleman who writes Arabic calligraphy. You can pay to have your name framed but if... More

Beautiful Mall, Magnificent Mall However, the service (like with 95% of Dubai businesses) is abysmal! Truly Truly dire.My wife was changing our 1 year old in one of the changing rooms when she looked away a second and our baby rolled on the floor. The baby was crying and my wife panicked. I went from shop to shop and stall... More

The artistry of this shopping mall is simply stunning, you have to see it to believe it! And it's all on one level, so no stairs or lifts to negotiate. Huge cinema complex if you do get bored, which is unlikely. Highly recommended for a visit, as well as for the shopping itself!

Although it is a bit at the end of the city, it is a very pleasant mall because of its interior design, each section has its own theme, painted and sculpted as per the country where Ibn Battuta travelled in. Loved it when i lived in the UAE between 2006-2009 :-) it is also just one floor so you wont... More
