The man made Palm Jumeirah is a testament to architectural imagination and engineering skill. The sheer size is hard to grasp until you experience it. Difficult to see the extent of the Palm from the Big Bus Tour, so on our next visit we'll make sure to book an aerial view. The fronds of the Palm are open only to... More

The branches of the palm tree are closed to the people not living there. You see nothing but cars when you drive there, and you get stuck in the traffic. I read that the water doesn't flow well anymore and garbage was accumulating in certain area that was not maintained. Except for going to the Atlantis Hotel, which is great,... More

You get spectacular views of the palm from the Palm monorail, so the ride is a good idea. At one end is the Atlantis hotel, where you can get off for a visit to the Lost Chambers Aquarium or spend the day at the Aquaventures water park.

The Palm Jumeirah is artificially made and it is really an art for the eye. We made a helicopter flight and were able to see the island from the sky. It is really beautiful made. We also visited Atlantis, which is placed in the middle of the ring around the "leafs". It was everywhere clean and such a pleasure to... More

I took the big bus tour to take a city round. During my tour, they showed me the various fronds and tip of the Palm island. You can hop down and take pictures of the Arabian Gulf and the Atlantis hotel. Some agencies offer a dedicated tour of the island which I could not take due to time constraint. There... More

The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial archipelago created using land reclamation by Nakheel, a company owned by the Dubai government in United Arab Emirates and was designed and developed by HHCP architects. It is one of three planned islands called the Palm Islands (Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira) which would have extended into the Persian Gulf, increasing... More

We took a short ride to the Palm and to the Atlantis. You can very easily get there using Metro + Tram. On Metro Red Line you can get down at DAMAC proporties, cross the bridge and take a tram to Palm Jumeirah. Then need to cross parking lot, direction are bit confusing but if you keep watching on floor... More

If you need help with turning dream into reality, try the Dubai merchants! I bow down to their imagination, their passion to make Dubai the no.1 tourist destination, and their execution of the Palm Jumeirah, down to the last grain of sand. As we drove through the Palm Jumeirah, I kept on ooo-ing and aah-ing till I reached the stretch... More
