The Palm is one of those 'only in Dubai' attractions. It looks magnificent from space, and is spectacular from the 52nd floor of the Marriott in Dubai Marina. From the ground it is badly built, and rather like driving through any other cityscape. Certainly don't bother heading to 'Atlantis the Palm' for a meal. You won't get past surly and... More

The Atlantis is worth a visit, truly spectacular. You can also park at the entrance to the Palm and take the monorail which gives good views of the areas that are residents only on the monorail to Atlantis. Really, it looks much more interesting on google maps. Nice sea views and walk y the end of the Atlantis. A bit... More

The palm is huge - going there does not make sense unless you stay in one of the beach hotels. The best way to enjoy is select the right side on your plane: if your heading to World Central, sit on the left side, while for Dubai International, sit on the right side.

The palm is a must see, you can come with the car and go along the midle of the palm, park and take a walk between the incredible Atlantis hotel and the sea. For an even beter and different perspective, park at the entrance of the palm and take the monorali to see the private houses on the palm leaves,... More

It is impossible to see the full effect of the Palm Islands from ground level. If you are lucky, you can get stunning views when flying in or out of Dubai. If you are flying out, make sure you sit at on the left hand side of the plane. First you will pass over "The World" and just beyond that... More

Palm jumeirah good place to see Atlantis and taking some photoshot in front of Atlantis, you can perfect place for jogging and and at the night it's quite place beautiful, only the negative things there is only one entrance and one exite way if it's heavy traffic you will take toooo long to get out.

I think it's nice to go to the Palm because it's build by human, but If you really want to get an experience you have to go the beach or Atlantis, I went to the riva beach club where there also is a swimming pool

Its nice to think that it was built by human. In the end of Palm, you can check Atlantis Hotel that is beautiful also.

We stayed at the waldorf Astoria on the east side of the palm. The Palm is remote that must be said. There is no metro, the monorail is there but in honesty it really serves no purpose. So it's car or taxi needed. But there is plenty of taxis and it's cheap from the waldorf to the dubai marina metro... More
