The Palm is a magnificent construction, and from seeing the sky view photos it looks amazing; however, going onto the palm itself is not that special. You do not get the bird's eye view, so it appears to be just any other coastline. The properties on The Palm are very nicely looking, but there are also construction sites that disrupts... More

The artificial island was quite a surprise. We prepared with lot of info but we were surprised to discover that’s so huge. It is actually a town on an artificial island. We got there by taxi as there is no connection between the metro and the monorail yet. They say that they’re working to connect monorail to the metro somehow,... More

Heard so much about this man-made island before we left and as an engineering marvel it is fine but apart from the external view of the Atlantis hotel (guards prevent you getting anywhere near the entrances), a small mall and a coffee at Starbucks, there was nothing much to report. There are still a lot of building works going on... More

DO NOT bother going to the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. I have been to the Palm in the Bahamas, and the one in Dubai was a HUGE disappointment. It is overpriced, overcrowded and unhyped...... The monorail is ridiculously expensive, the cost of the two minute ride is the same as taking a coach bus to Abu Dhabi. The price of... More

Tourists flood this area for a look of the Atlantis - a massive hotel at the end of the palm. Every visitor will have a photo shoot at this place. You can also see the beaches and yachts there. If by road, you can see the wonder tunnel which goes below the water above. The trunk of the palm is... More

Absolutely no need to go out of your way to drive on the palm. Mostly private residential. if you must drive the palm Park on the crescent adjacent to Atlantis and take a walk through the hotel. the aquarium is pretty amazing, but don't pay for it. If you enter through the lobby you can just walk straight to the... More

Well, David Beckham is one of the buyer of property there...only rich people associated to this place. Atlantis hotel is gorgeous and I leave a very remarkable memory being there...only world class hotel group build their hotel there...and the skyline view of Dubai from Plam jumeirah site is wonderful and unforgettable.

One thing about the experience about the Palm is that you should drive there. There's a Metro but it stops at the designated stations. Driving there means you can stop anywhere and just park along the roadside just to admire the beautiful Atlantis, the serene view of the sea and take lots and lots of photos. The only thing is... Not just this man made island is worth a watch but the Atlantis Hotel as well. Stop for a photo shop there. If possible plan a stay there, enjoy the crystal clear water. The efforts put in to build it does really deserves an applaud.
