Palm jumerirah is good island lot of hotels with beautiful beaches, you can park you car and enjoying watching the sea, but so far Fridays its very traffic, not much super markets or no sign board showing nearest super market or shops.

man made structure that has been excellently designed and there are more similar ones coming up. A major part of this is residential and cannot be driven into. can drive around and upto the front facing the sea. From a helicopter ride the view and strucure can be really appreciated.

Its a lovely area with nice buildings and classy hotels but its so big you don't know you are walking or driving on a palm shaped island. Videos of sky dives in dubai show people floating above the palm and this looks amazing but on the ground its just another nice area.

Driving on the palm seems like it would be a lot cooler than it was. I expected to see more of the palm. It was still worth going. There is a beautiful view of the city and Burj Al Arab from the drive. There are lots of places to stop and take pictures.

Access to Palm Island Jumeirah is easy, right off of Sheikh Zayed Road. Apartments, villas, hotels line the "trunk" on right and left as you travel to the "top", where Hotel Atlantis is. There are laybys to stop and take photos. It is not easy to tell the shape of the "tree" when you are right there!

If your into architecture & or seen this on TV, it does not compare until you have seen it with your own eyes! It is truly enormous for one & secondly amazing to see what can be done with changing landscapes or vision of building property along the shoreline

Private beach was truly man made! Sand was a bit rough and sea had lots of broken shells so beach shoes are a good idea
