The Jumeirah Mosque is (I believe) the only mosque in Dubai open to non-Muslims for tours. The SMCCU offers these tours at 10am on select days. We went on a Sunday. It was 10 AED/person. Wear long pants, loose-fitting shirts with long sleeves and women should bring a headscarf (although they will provide them if you forget). Pictures are welcome.... more

If you are bored of the fluff that is endless Malls and lying by the pool/beach then give this a whirl. Go with an open mind and you will bring home something more valuable than anything you could buy in the Gold Souk - a bit of knowledge and understanding. Highly recommended. more

One of the best things too see in Dubai is the beautiful ‘Jumeirah Mosque’ located on beach road, Jumeriah 1. Normally no one who is not muslim are allowed in any mosque but the Jumeirah mosque is the only mosque that is open for non-muslim visitors.
