It had been over a decade since my last yoga experience when I settled onto the warm sands of the beach and began to make my first halting attempts at the various poses our instructor guided us through. I won't lie - it was a struggle. I 'ain't as flexible as I once was, and the rest of my class'... More

I came to the gym as I had free access because I was staying at the Mina Al Salam Hotel in the Madinat Jumeriah group. I was just going to work out on the treadmill, but the lady informed me there was a Zumba class starting in 5 minutes - I absolutely love Zumba - I had so much fun,... More

I had an excellent spa treatment here at the Talise Spa. We arrived a little early so I was able to swim in the infinity pool and the hot tub. The lady doing my massage and facial was excellent. It was also equally awesome to see the Burj Al Arab.

Good therapist and products used are of very high quality. The whole user experience was great from the time I arrived for my appointment until after the treatment. Disappointed that the 60 minutes treatment was finished in about 45 minutes. The spa facilities were perfect to male the experience last a little longer. The place, being in a crowded gym,... More

I visited Talise with two girlfriends. We booked a treatment deal which involved the use of spa facilities, a 1.5 hour massage, a skin analysing treatment (or infra red sauna), and a yoga session. We were not able to attend the yoga session as it was held in the evening when we had other commitments. But what we had experienced... More

The massage I wanted and was advertised on the website wasn't available apparently at the spa which was unfortunate, especially as I wanted a 90min to avail the current 30pc discount. The similar one offered was only 60mins, so I chose a 90 min aromatherapy massage instead. As residents at Dar Al Masyaf it was easy to book and a... More

Beautiful spa, lovely staff. You get to use their facilities- jacuzzi, steam and sauna before or after you massage, and when we went it was empty so nice to escape the heat for a while and relax.

We stayed at the Al Qsar last week while on holiday in Dubai. I wanted a facial on my last day of vacation before the long flight home. I booked a Sodashi Bespoke Facial and Rosearin worked on me. She did a great job and my skin feels and looks great afterwards. Thank you Rosearin!!!!

I went to the Madinat Jumeriah branch and I was definitely not impressed! I mean the boat ride there was cool, the staff were friendly but no wow factor, the spa itself looks outdated and not what I was expecting! For the price I thought it would be a luxurious spa. Massage was ok, anyway I am definitely looking to... More

Lots of fussing around. Massage so-so. Shower cubicle too small. Long walk from changing rooms to massage room.
