Dubai has many attractions which give artificial impression, but in Safa Park, you get feeling of real nature. Great place for picnic, outdoor sports and relaxation, overseeing impressive Dubai DownTown area.
The park is not huge. But it is very well maintained like most of Dubai parks. a nice 3.4 km soft track for jogging goes around it. Many families and group of friends go for BBQs during the weekends. The skyline surrounding the park is fabulous, but you get the 'quiet' version. Very nice place to be.
Nice park, great grass, some coffee facilities. Entrance is only 3 AED. There are many opportunities to join a group of yoga, jogging or even just relaxing on the grass. Full with expats.
Weather was great, clean park with lots of space. Saturday isn't too crowded. The coop in front of it has nice meat for bbq.
Nice place to go with family and kids for a good barbecue picnic...The ticket cost around AED 2-3 per person and it also has a nice running track around the park!!
Al Safa Park is probably one of the more popular parks around the city and tends to get a bit crowded on the nicest days, but its still worth a trip as it's spacious and has a lot of grass to enjoy playing with my family.
If Jumble sales are you thing, make your way to Safa Park early on the first Saturday of the month. The Park gates open at 8.00 am, 3 dirhams entrance, queue with all the different nationalities, have change ready and enjoy going to the biggest jumble sale around!
Everything from gym equipment to cushions, abayas and shoes to stuffed toys...

3 AED to enter. Excellent park with loo facilities, boating lake and cafes. Good children's play areas. Impeccably kept gardens and you maybe lucky to spot the unusual bird in the sanctuary area. BBQ areas get busy from early on especially at the weekend. By the way no pork to be cooked on the BBQ's.
