Introduction & Facts The Burj Al Arab is one of the most well-known landmarks in Dubai and probably in the UAE. Because of the reputation, public access to the property is very limited. Besides staying in one of the suites, the least expensive way to have a glimpse behind the BAA's gate is by dining in one of its restaurants.... more

It was absolutely the best experience of my life. I had m wedding at the Burj and It was the best experience of my life. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and the views were out of this world. Please Ignore all the negetive reviews you see about people complaining about the price of coffee and all. It is... more

We stayed at the Burj after spending a week at the Dar Al Masyf villas at the Al Qsar hotel complex. We were lucky enough to be upgraded at the Burj to a 3 bedroom diplomat suite. All I can say is that it was sheer luxury through and through. We were treated like royalty throughout our stay. The Butler... more

We booked to visit the Beach Bar at the Burj to have cocktails. The only stipulation was that we had to spend a total of 250 AED between us in the time that we were there (125 AED per person). That was around £50. I know it may seem like a lot of money but believe you me it was... more

We booked tea at the Tower of Arabs for a sweeping 375 AED each (approx 75 UK pounds p/person) in the lobby, not even the famous sky bar. The price included 7 different food entries and a glass of champagne. Overall, food was very nice but not spectacular with freshly baked scones and home made pastries, but sandwiches were made... more

The Burj Al Arab is built on an artificial island just off the Dubai coast. You cannot get from the mainland to visit the hotel without passing through the guard house. And to persuade the guard to let you through you need either to be staying at the hotel or have a reservation for a meal or meeting etc. The cheapest... more

Got a taxi to outside the 7 star Burj Al Arab Hotel’s (famous new hotel) security gatehouse. I managed to have lunch at Wild Wadi (theme park) before entering Burj Al Arab. I managed to escape from being splashed by the waterfall, to keep my smart clothes dry for posh Burj Al Arab!! The security guard had allowed me to... more

By all means a must see, but what problems when we tried to have dinner there! We were staying at the sister hotel Mina A'Salam at Madinat Jumeirah. Our tour manager booked us into the wrong restaurant. The Burj al Arab's customer representative eventually got us into the Al Iwan Restaurant, an expensive buffet. Nowhere near as good as the... more

Very hard to say exactly what is most odd about the Burj. Perhaps its the very strict security just to get in to try and spend money. Perhaps its the most gaudy clash of colours in the known world. Perhaps its because you are sitting on a plot of reclaimed sand, out from a city that is sitting on sand... more

Recent stay at the Burj was beyond description. There are no words to describe the opulence, luxury and service. It is well worth the price to treat yourself as if a King with every one of your needs are taken care of by a Personal Butler, Floor Concierge and staff. It is so elegant. The room was 3200 sqft, (300sqm)... more
