This beach is owned by the surrounding resorts. Beaches are immaculate and clean. So much so there is even a person raking the sea sand. The water is crystal clear, but a little hot. Believe it or not the hotel pool is actually cooler. Still its beautiful to spend the day and laze on the beach bungalos and take the... More

This is the beach the locals use. We went on a weekend (remember Friday and Saturday are the weekend) and it gets crowded - so go early for easy parking. The north end of the beach is place for kite surfing and the south end for sunbathing and safe swimming. It is a windy beach and great for kite flying.... More

Jumeira Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai. It stretches along the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirh Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali.You... The park is green and beautiful and what I loved most about it is that it has a track for those who want to exercise. There are also bike rides that one can hire and use on the tracks and some can carry up to 3 pax. There are slides for babies as well and so there's something for everyone.

We visited at night but had a walk along the beach and our 17 month old son played at the park. We walked along trying to decide what restaurant to choose from as there are so many! Would be nice in the daytime if you have spare time during your visit. Easily located once getting off at Dubai marina metro... More

I expected more out of this beach because of the buzz but I think once you've been to a lot of other beaches this one just seems average. It's great for people watching.

Beach is beautiful, in the free section remember umbrellas and suntan lotion. Go on a starfish hunt during low tide along the rocks

Most of Dubai's beaches are nice and clean but it has some additional advantages: the ability to cool off in the large park just behind the beach, the presence of all the services you may need, etc .. \ The price is not an obstacle: less than 1 euro per person! (Attention, Monday Access for women).

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
