Concrete jungle or the beach, take the latter option!

Great area, plenty of restaurants and the beach area is great for reading and very kids friendly. Stay close as the heat is relentless in August.

Clear Aquamarine water in soft whitish sands........a perfect family getaway on weekends.........water sometimes is not ideal for swimming on poor weather days. Excellent view of Burj Al Arab!

It was a hot hot hot day. Our friends get discounts everywhere so we decided to go here. Lovely beach. Very little shade from the 47 degree temperatures. Gorgeous photo opportunities with the burj Al Arab behind you. Especially at night. Enjoyed a lovely ice cream. Great experience. can recommend

Nice chill out zone in busy Dubai, fantastic showers and toilets on the beach, cleaned all day long. Beds to sunbathe on and Nice walking area and beach gym to enjoy, if you can Exercise in the heat. Up market restaurants along the zone, really enjoyed myself.

This is not my first visit - however due to the consistency of this place, I felt compelled to write. If you are in Dubai - it is a must visit. The place is full of people - all having a good time - from all walks of life. It is very clean, secure and the water is amazing. If... More

Beautiful clean beach , we went on a day that was 45 c which proved to be too hot on the feet and uncomfortable so I would select you're days carefully for beaching as most days were well over 40c.

Very good beach, great for a few hours with kids. You can go for a swim in the sea as its very clean water, great for the kids with the sand as there's loads of shells to collect. Best time to go is before sunset as you get to see the sun setting. Awesome view of Burj Al Arab, can... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
