A free shuttle bus took us from the hotel to this beach. Nothing much to it, really. Hot sun, warm water in the gulf. What I remembered was, a lot of cigarette buts in the sand.. :-)

Lots of cafes and restaurants. Clean and nice beach. Many options of place to stay overnight. The only shortcoming is the traffic. Especially during afternoon.

The most amazing aspect about this beach is that is a lush green park with such amazing facilities and views. Well worth the small entrance fee. Had an amazing time and it is great for those who can't stay at beach hotels. The only downside is that it is really quite a hussle to catch a taxi when the beach... More

It is just a well organized beach with lots of restaurants behind. The only benefit is the view of the Burj al Arab hotel, where you cannot go if you don't have a reservation for the restaurant or obviously for one of the rooms. Personally, I would never consider Dubai as a beach destination. Staying at the Park Hyatt, I... More

IT was one of the best and biggest part by the beach... a small village on its own. BUT ITS ALMOST ONE YEAR OR 8 MONTHS DOWN THAT THE PARK HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED FOR FURTHER CONSTRUCTION. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A CANAL IN DUBAI AND WILL PASS THRU THE JUMEIRA BEACH PARK. SO IF U CUD REMOVE IN YOUR... More

I love how this area is modern with the beach. It's a perfect place to live in and chill. You can eat, shop and swim.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
