The Wafi City Mall has an Egyptian theme to the whole place. The building decor is Egyptian as is the outside of the building with large statues and carvings. Inside the mall there is a huge glass ceiling depicting Egyptian pictures. This is one of the stops on the Big Bus Tour and it is the end of the route... More

I explored this mall after getting off the Big Bus tour (highly recommended). The medium-sized mall is full of high-end stores and, at least when I was there, absent the crowds of larger shopping areas. I loved the Egyptian architectural theme!

there are many many shopping malls in Dubai but this one is incredible in the way that it has been built with all outside buildings representing ancient Egypt and likewise the interior has a similar theme,it is worth the bus ride to simply walk around the area to see all the ''artwork'' without doing shopping ,very hard to describe it... A lovely mall but such a shame that there were lots of empty shops. The ones that are filled are nice but the Dubai Mall is more central and certainly was busier when we visited. Be sure to visit the Souk though - beautiful architecture and interesting shops

This mall is far better compare to the Hectic price and brands in Dubai mall. There is some good offers for DSF also. I tried Ted Lapidus, Spencers etc

We didn't visit the mall itself as we were just changing the Big Bus Route however we did visit the souk which is based on the old fashioned souks of yester year. There are several 'quarters' eg, Egyptian, Moroccan. The goods are of quality and you aren't really hassled by the owners but you can barter so don't accept the... More
