We visited with out very polite and shy 10 and 8 year old. They did struggle with the very lacklustre queuing system, but mostly had a great afternoon. I am still using the perfume they made me and the earrings. They did a number of activities, but as quieter, older girls, preferred the more arty and calmer activities. They absolutely... More

Probably the best day out we had with our 4 year old. Spent 6 hours there and could have spent more but she got a little tired. Try and get there early as it gets busier as the day goes on. Get on the Airplane, Fire engine and ambulance as these are the ones with the queues later in the... More

We spent a whole day in KidZania Dubai, there was so much for the kids to do and so many jobs to choose from. The kids loved each of the jobs they had a quick snapshot of (15 min to 20 min per activity), From surgeon, firefighter, painter, chocolate maker to business entrepreneur, etc. By early afternoon, the place got... A Fantastic place for children to learn and earn! Now they have introduced a new thing of giving Pazzports to Children at an extra charge of 25 AED. They get benefits of earning more and spending less at every activity. According to the number of activities they do they get stamps on their pazzport and then get promoted to higher... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
