An amazing environment, a real pleasure to walk around. The shops are overpriced, and there's not enough variety - it would be nice if they could find more authentic crafts and gifts to appeal to tourists.

What an experience. I have not haggled in a long time and as long as you smile and start at about 50% of their asking price you should grab yourself a bargain. It was so hot when we visited. Not pleasant to walk in but it meant it was quieter than it usually is. Excellent choices of places to eat.... More

Loved this place! We visited at night and even though the outside was lit up, I would of loved to of seen the souk in the daylight. Lots of restaurants and shops to look around in. We ate at a Lebanese place and really enjoyed it. The souk itself was quite relaxed and we could stroll around at our own... More

A rustic take on the modern UAE mall. Some lovely shops and stalls, with great restaurants. Things are all quite pricey though. Alcohol is served in the restaurants and bars there, which is unusual in Dubai. My tip: don't jump in the Lexus cabs directly outside the entrance, walk down to the road a little and the normal cabs are... More

This place is a modern take on the traditional souk. Mid August its perfect as there is full air con - some great products available and you can spent a good couple of hours here without being harrassed every few minutes. Nice place with nice people - next door is the Pasha Ibiza night club - the place to be... More

Three 5* hotels connected by a high-end indoor souk (market) and a lake you explore by a modern Abra (traditional boat). This attraction does not seem to be as well known as others but it is well worth a half-day visit. As with other reviews, it is expensive and maybe not as authentic as the souks in the old town... The design of this shopping mall to look like an original souk is wonderful, even though i am not sure how authentic it is in reality. Most of the people wandering around are tourists, but to be fair, that is quite a given in Dubai anyway. There are great boutiques and shops, and you genuinely do barter like you would... More
