Lovely stalls and memorabilia... A lot of time could be spent going through all the little isles and browsing through the stalls!

Tourists galore but quite a good place to take pictures and have pictures taken. A lot of little small shops, restaurants, and traffic.

These souks are posh. Not like proper haggle market style that you find in marrakech. Pleasant experience and chance to negotiate price without the same pressure found in other souks.

I liked it... in Madinat there are a bunch of really nice restaurants, good prices, besides that you can take a gondola ride around of Jumeriah group of hotels and stop to eat something in the restoraunts within these hotels which are a bit more expensive then restaurants in Madinat, but it is worthy

Well, they put effort into the deco and it did look nice ... Not so nice that every activity needed to be paid separately for kids... Bouncing castle slide Euro 1.15 per 3 second slide ... Well this is cut throat at its best ... Merry Christmas Highway Robbers

Visited the festive fair tonight in the open air area by Madinat Souk. Fantastic atmosphere, lots of things for the kiddies, train ride, ice skating and other 'big' games. Beautifully decorated tree. Drinks and food available. Great for families and couples alike. There was a live band and a small retail area. A super place to relax, chill and just... More

Great place to spend 1-2 hours doing some shopping or general browsing – the place isn’t too busy with tourists and there are many different shops there – from food to clothes, rugs and souvenirs. Although newly built, it creates a good impression of walking through an old authentic souk. We also took advantage of the 20 mins boat tour... More

Souk is beautifully designed and has lot of shops (souvenirs, etc.) and restaurants inside. The souk has waterways/canals on one side leading upto sea I guess. There are restaurants by the side of the waterway where one may want to sit and hang out. The shops are quite expensive though. We ended up visiting Gallery one which had beautiful paintings..... At this place you can find great goods for shopping . Jewelry, clothes and souvenirs. A little expensive. There are also Restautants and night clubs. Very nice place to go during the day or at the end of the day for a happy hour.
