This is a complex of hotels, restaurants and charming souks to wander around. After a morning of shopping in the souks there are plenty of eateries to chose from overlooking the canal to relax and watch the worl go by. Perfect..!,

The Souk Madinat Jumeirah is part of a complex of hotels and restaurants. Souk means "market". It is not an original old souk but the architecture and ambiance is spectacular. You will find many nice shops with all sorts of things including souvenirs, pashminas and local delicacies. If weather permits eat at one of the many restaurants close to the... More

The whole complex is built in homage to the Arabian heritage, which is charming. The souq is lovely to walk through & the shops have lots on offer (at tourist prices!). The waterfront area is beautiful & there's many options for outdoor dining - especially lovely in the evenings. You can take an abra ride along the canals. It's nice... More

Lovely little souk with beautifully crafted memorabilia, bags, gifts and jewellery. Some lovely restaurants too over looking the burj Al Arab And Pacha nightclub just outside for the seasoned raver!

There is so much to do here. So many bars and a very social vibe. You can come here shopping and go for a meal and end up in a bar. Many Americans here though. Americans and Canadians. It's also close Burj El Arab also, so it's kind of a two for one in terms of sight seeing.

This is an excellent souk (Market), where a variety of shops are in one place like jewelry, souvenirs, traditional cloths/shoes, and antiques. Many restaurants of different taste are also available, but be careful as the prices vary so much. Look at their menu first. Nice open sitting area by the wharf or the theater. You can take a boat ride... More

We stopped by the Souk Madinat on our last day in Dubai, it is a quick metro ride from downtown Dubai and right next to the Burj Al Arab. We didn’t have enough time to stop by the famous hotel but it was really close to the Souk and the view of it was pretty beautiful. The Souk itself is... More

A developed modern souk market which houses some nice restaurants along the banks of a canal where you can catch a boat ride for a fee. From here, you can get a view of Burj Al-Arab Hotel as well. Interestingly, there is a theatre inside the souk with western plays.
