A really lovely day or night can be had at the Souk. Lots of restaurants with amazing views, we liked the bar with the bean bags looking out onto the boats and the Burj Al Arab. The market is really good - Sinbad Antiques was a favourite! We stayed at Jumeirah Beach and the taxi was approximately 30AED one way.

Such a great place to shop and dine. Great environment to sit on the outdoor patios for dinner or a drink at one of the many great restaurants (Steak Co. is great). Good shopping but be sure to barter and walk away if your reasonable offer is not accepted as the next shop will have something similar. DO NOT drive... More

We described this as a little Venice. Managed to get a drinks in a bar whilst sitting on beanbags listening to a singer. Stunning place, although it was extremely busy when we went. Would recommend going

Lots of shops and restaurants. Great location, quite near to a mall(10min taxi ride). Great view also of Burj Al Arab. A must see location when in Dubai.

For some reason we expected a stall-type market but how wrong we were. The souk has some really nice little shops It was quite easy to get to via the metro and a short (cheap) taxi ride but use the proper taxis, not the 'limousines'. There are plenty of eating places all with al fresco dining areas, alongside the boating... More

It's a great place to spend an evening! Lots of restaurants, a few shops and a waterway with abras/ small boats travelling around the canal of what is a modern version of a historic Emirati village..complete with wind towers. Save space after your evening meal for icecream and then sit on a bean bag, look at the water in the... More

The best organised souk in dubai. Don`t miss a relaxing stay on the steps of the amphitheatre after 8pm, when an English guitar artist plays nice songs. The atmosphere is great.

We spent our last day here and what a day, lovely suroundings and just a great place to be. Souk was great and without the hassle, cafes were great and probably the best view of the Burj is from Costa Coffee. Took the boat around the creeks and again some great views and pictures to be had. Hotel carpark is... More
