This 'souk' has nice eateries and shops. It's not really a market place, more like a traditional mall. Major benefit is the fact that it is airconditioned

Found items to be generally expensive. Great location with a great view of the Burj. Finding parking was a problem, had to make a few rounds. Several restaurants with open air dining, perfect place for a relaxed dining experience (during the cooler months). Couldn't try the boat ride, the next avaialble slot was several hours away.

Having lived in Dubai for many years perhaps I am a little blase about this attraction. So, first thing, dont go here to shop. It is over priced and selection is not the best of many things. If you want to go here as a tourist then please do, it is worth a look, and there are plenty of eating... More

Worth visiting as very quaint. Been here twice now & some lovely little shops. Shame the turtles can't be seen anymore. Nice having a coffee & watching the Gondolas.

This modern version of a traditional Arabian souk is part of the huge 5- star Madinat Jumeirah resort. In its cool narrow alleyways you will find quaint little shops selling beautiful jewellery, scarves, handicrafts, souvenirs etc. and a large selection of restaurants and cafes some of which overlook the waterway running around the resort with a view of the Burj Al... Loved this place as the building design gives you that genuine arab feel and look. The dark brown colored foundations inside the shopping area, the yellowish tiles and walls, crescent moons decorating the ceilings, the works. Got a lot of places for fine dining too, especially those at Abra station side. Going here during evenings is also ideal as you... More

I'm not much of a shopper, but enjoyed walking around and seeing the different shops. This is built to resemble a old Souk even though it's modern with air conditioning.

Well, to be honest this is not the typical "authentic" souk and it is expensive, but I still like it a lot. You will pay less at the real souks but this has such a clean, elegant setting and some very fine items. You get a lot less haggling (though you still can, of course!) and there are very high... Very traditional place. Depends on the purpose of your visit there. I am not buying unnecessary things. Beautiful souk, beautiful items in every stall. Worth visiting and you it find a souvenir you like to bring home
