We visited this as a stop on the hop on/off bus - lovely air con made it a pleasure to wander around the lanes. Plenty of trinkets some more expensive than others. Loads of cafes and a fantastic view and photos op of the burj al Arab. We went on a weekday morning and because of this it was not... More

Visited on our last night as we needed somewhere pretty local before our flight home and so glad we did. The souk was very cleverly planned out with a wide variety of stalls and shops. Relaxing with a coffee and people watching was so relaxing. The views and photo opportunity with the Burj al Arab cannot be missed. Just wished... More

Very beautiful souq area whit lots of restaurants in it! Maybe more expensive than Deira souqs but also better quality. You can also walk in peace and you can find some expensive brands there also.

I came here especially for the Gold-to-Go ATM. Unfortunately, the ATM seems to be out of order for months already. Overall, the Souk looks very nice!

This is a reproduction of a traditional souk, but with aircon. Great range of shops and unusual gift buying opportunities. Numerous food and beverage outlets, and so it is easily possible to spend several hours here without any problem. It is on the bus tour routes, or a short taxi journey from downtown. As an extra bonus there are great... More

We wandered the markets for a couple of hours, its a great setup on a man made lake, where you can do a bit of a boat trip. The restaurants are set up with some great views. The markets are on the expensive side, aimed at the people who can afford the top end of the accommodation market near the... More

The souk was nice, little trinkets and market stuff that can be purchased. Some were priced well, others expensive however what was the best part for me was the Abra boat ride in the hotel. Its AED75 for non hotel guests and the ride is about 10-15 minutes but it gives you one of the best views of the Burj... More

I have visited this place twice in the last fortnight; with friends and with my Mum. A mix of souk, shops, market stalls, cafes and restaurants. You can easily spend a couple of hours wandering and are spoilt bythe amount of eateries. There is also boat trips along the canals and fantastic views of the Burj Al Arab. Would recommend... More
