A good method of getting in and around the city. The service is very often and and the stations and modern and full of information. The maps will guide you, and if you can't work out your route from the map, then the staff will help you. It's also cost effect (better than taxis). Taxis often over charge and will... More

Nice views if you go to Atlantis. Easy for visiting the Palm island. Cost AED 25 for round trip. If you sit in the front you have best views.

I'd really recommend this ride to the Atlantis so you can get good views of the Palm island , which you won't get while driving on the road. You can reach the monorail station by tram.

Not really worth time spent. We parked the car at Gateway towers (free parking) went on the train (not many people, to Atlantis and return price is 25 AED/person). Not much to do, we spent around 15 min just drop into Atlantis and walked a bit near sea line. Since we live on Palm we didn't see that much new... More

Mono rail was expensive, palm island is not worth seeing as you cant acess the beach if you arent staying there all you can do is experience ridiculously over priced resturants, save your money and time and dont bother!

Used the monorail on Thursday after visiting the Atlantis hotel and Lost Chambers. It is a novelty really but clean and efficient. It would be better if it was more frequent but anyway it was not at all busy although I can see it might be busy at the weekends. Reasonable one way ticket price. Nice views of the palm... More

Clean and easy to reach but expensive just to see houses and a terrible mall. If going to waterpark, probably less expensive for a family to take taxi.

First time on a monorail so an interesting experience but one which was very expensive (25Dirhams for a round trip) compared to other transport in Dubai. Also very busy with many people having to stand. Some good views of the "fronds" of the palm. Pity the monorail does not form part of the otherwise well connected transport system.

It was expensive. Only had three stations. You have to wait a lot and you have to rent a taxi at the last station, because the last station is beside a highway without a pedestrian way. The only advantage was the nice view of palm.

A smooth ride, although very crowded. I would recommend sitting on the left hand side of the monorail as it goes towards the end of the palm as you get a great photo of the Aquaventure hotel. A nice way to get to Aquaventure and you can also then avoid traffic.
