As a public transport fan i had to take the Pulm Jumeirah monorail. The monorail is only reachable by taxi from the Internetcity metro station. Arrival at the monorail was very unattractive in a construction site. No business at all in the station. All possible shopspaces are empty, no advertisements. Tickets are 25 AED for a return journey. Only one... More

It's a means to get to the Atlantis Hotel. Why this is an attraction beats me? Have used the mono rail several times but only for the purpose of getting to Atlantis. It's a good way to see the Palm but it is a short ride and not really worth it if that's your aim. Take a taxi and ask... More

We really wanted to see the palm and the astonishing project. We choosed to use monorail to go to palm and back. Unfortunately monoral is partially build and has only two stations; entrance and Atlantic hotel. Also the entrance is in the middle of construction site. After arrival to monorail station ( they don't accept cards, only cash). We bought... More

It's a car park at one end and the Atlantis at the other. It's actually easier and cheaper to simply taxi. A good idea but poorly executed. I'm all for sustainability but I don't feel like this transport system works. A tourist may enjoy the higher views of the apartment blocks on the Palm.

The easiest way to get to The Palm Jumeirah, it`s pretty fast and gives opportunity of watching this luxury residential area. It plays every 30 minutes and is not crowded I suggest to sit on the front, the best place for taking photo.

Despite having multiple stations on the Palm none are open except at the start & end! we stay on the trunk of the Palm & despite having a station 5 minutes walk away, it has never been open in the 5 years we have been!!

While on the monorail, you can get a nice view of the palm form a slightly elevated spot. But thats the only good thing about this monorail. The building where you will need to board the Train from Dubai city looks hideous (in comparison with other buildings). there is nothing there. You will have to cross a big busy road... More

There is nothing really to this monorail. It provides nice photo opportunities of Atlantis and the palms, however it is within the train so remember to turn off your flash to prevent reflections in the glass. Entertainer vouchers are available in the entertainer books and offer 2 tickets for the price of one.

Interesting to see the palm jumeirah (incl the construction and unfinished projects) but not a great deal to do at the end unless you're going to the water park (which looks great, but we didn't do). We were hoping to see Atlantis the hotel, but we weren't allowed near the actual hotel. There is an aquarium, which looks quite good.... More

We took a taxi out to the Atlantis and took the monorail back. The view was very nice. We had to wait 20 minutes as the monorail only operates a couple times an hour. There are not many seats in the monorail station, so wait in the atlantis. Getting a taxi back was not that big a deal. It is... More
