Great place to go for an after-work drink (especially during Happy Hour). Great atmosphere and a chance to see fellow expats or other passers by. At this time of year, sitting outside on the terrace is devine.

Headed out for a friends birthday and we didn't book but scored a fantastic lounge to seat 12 of us. Outside was too busy but eventually around 10.30 we got a table outside. The view is great and the Espresso Martini's are awesome. If you want a table guaranteed I would recommend booking in advance.I thought the service was fantastic,... More

Great view, great food, great atmosphere outside. Only thing letting it down was service. They were seriously short staffed.....well I hope they were and it isn't normally like this. Am definitely going back. By the way the tapas dishes are not small in portion which was lovely and the quality was high.

Visited last week and really enjoyed it,would certainly recommend to others. We didn't eat here but the drinks were nice and reasonably priced during happy hour at least!.Couldn't see the fountains from our table but it wasn't a problem as we were going upstairs to Neos later anyway.Dress code was more liberal than I was led to believe but it was... Lovely place with a beautiful balcony overlooking the dubai bay. We were recommended to go there so we can see the dubai fountain. But this terrace doesn't really overlook the fountains. It's pretty blocked views so not recommended if that's the purpose for going. Otherwise, wonderful place

Its good. Great bar, awesome hotel, interior is excellent, food is really good. Service sucks. Happy hour has a good crowd. Service sucks. Do i really need to order 3 times and wait 30 minutes to get a drink. And a drink with attitude. Tax free dream. Could have been an 8/10 Drops to a 5.

Calabar Lounge is located in the Address Hotel Downtown (not to be mistaken for it's close neighbor, the Address Hotel- Dubai Mall a few hundred meters away). Calabar's outdoor terrace dwarf's the indoor space. Not surprising as it has marvelous views of the Burj Khalifa and surrounding areas. The outdoor area can seat a couple of hundred people on an... Visited twice for happy hour, 6pm to 8pm, and loved it on both occasions. Half price drinks, fantastic tapas style snacks and chilled out music all while overlooking the fountains and Burj Khalifa make for a great evening.

Drinks are half off during Happy Hour and the view of the Burj Khalifa is nice. I noticed construction during my March 2014 visit, so the views of the fountain and the Burj were obscured. The staff is attentive and will getting your drinks ordered is not a big deal.
