I could stay and watch all night.

Shows every 30 minutes. I recommend having dinner at TGI Fridays and getting a balcony table (go at 5 or 5:30pm) and enjoy dinner and the most impressive fountain show ever.

Too crowded . But quite spectacular. Too long to walk to get to the fountain. But this is something exciting to do in a city known only for shopping Nc corporat headquarter.

I have been to see the Dancing Fountains on several of my trips to Dubai and every time I have been amazed. I was very skeptical as I didn't think some water could be very entertaining but this is something else entirely! The program runs from 6pm at 30 minute intervals but each time is completely different. If you are... More

A short fountain dance to music every half hour. The fountain is exceptionally well choreographed to the music, and is different throughout the evening. If dining, ask for a terrace table.

The best time to watch the free fountain show is after sunset. The world's largest choreographed fountain system is situated by the Dubai Mall, in the shadow of the Burj Khalifa. the world's tallest building. You can sit nearby and enjoy a meal or a drink and take in the entertainment.

Dancing fountains can bee seen in many places in the world. For people who haven't seen other fountains before it will be a life time experience. People who have seen other ones before will be impressed by the size of the show. It is impressive.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
