Music, water and lights combine to create a spectacular display. Ever-changing and playing every 30 mins in the evening - don't miss it!
A great attraction. The fountains are a real achievement alongside the Burj Kaleefa - just make an evening of it. there are lots of resturants to visit. If you want to avoid the crowds walk away from the Dubai Mall around past the Kaleefa. great evening out.
Bit like the Belaggio Fountains in Vegas... But much, much better. Bigger, higher, longer, wetter, better. If you're in Dubai don't miss them!
Watching these from the balcony of a café on the third floor or the Dubai mall was amazing. except the day we went the show was delayed some 3 hours which was difficult to cope with given the number of people that were there to watch the show that day
A visit to Dubai is not complete without watching the fountains. I keep going back, it's breathtaking every time. You can enjoy it from the steps surrounding the fountains, or treat yourself to a full night of shows and book a table in one of the restaurants of the Souk al Bahar.
I had booked a table for dinner on the terrace at the Mango Tree where we able to view the fountain displays which took place every 30 minutes, definitely a crowd drawer and very busy what with the Dubai mall, Burj Khalifa, souk al bahar surrounding the fountain lake. Definitely worth a visit. I would also highly recommend the wine... More
We waited nearly 3 hours to see the famed fountains but never saw them, there were nearly inaudible announcements every half hour saying they would work in the next few minutes but nothing happened despite security cramming more and more people into the area, we gave up and left
We waited an hour at a good stop for these fountains. All though the power is immense and patterns great we were a bit disappointed it only lasted for under 5 minutes. Compare to some water displays e.g. Singapore which can be 15-20 minutes. Would recommend as a once if you're visiting Dubai
I saw the fountains in the evening after sunset. This was really nice to see and I would recommend everybody to combine this with a visit to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. This is something nice to be done to spend a couple of hours.
