Best time to visit is before May. Sit near the fountains and use stroller for small kid. Enjoy in cool breeze. Fountains dance on music and indian song on dancing fountains is worth seeing with excellent sound system. For photography, sunset time is best. Please like my review if u like this.

Find a good spot and enjoy the amazing show! Starts at 18.00 and goes on for 4-5 minutes every half an hour. You can sit at a restaurant but they are a bit expencive and you can't sit just for a drink, or you can try the Shake Shack from where you can see the show and just drink something.... More

Spell bounding. The Formations are just amazing. But it gets uncomfortable standing ana waiting. Maybe they can have some seats for kids and elderly.

Thought they were over rated expected them to be coloured and play to modern music. Also they were over very quickly.

My children where totally absorbed in the 15 min show at the fountain outside the mall. The music was lovely too. And in between there were some children's activities inside the mall.

Very similar to Las Vegas' Belaggio. It gets super crowded, tons of restaurants around to sit and watch "the show" runs every 30 minutes.

We were able to watch the first show of the afternoon when it was still light and at night in the dark. We watched it from down in the walkway surrounding the fountain and we have a fabulous vantage point from the terrace at the Armani Hotel where we were enjoying dinner. The music to go with the shows was... More

A quite amazing fountain show with music. The height the water goes to is quite incredible. Huge numbers of visitors turn up to watch the shows which take place every half hour from early evening. Well worth a visit.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
