Awesome... Awestruck

One of the best convention centres I have ever visited - international standards and a professional staff to manage and direct the delegates. Awesome and awestruck...!

I love this place, but taxi service is very bad. You wait forever. I avoided that by using the metro.

Certainly the main & one of the best convention venues in UAE - access is easy however on meeting days best to take the metro as parking is expensive and spills out into the desert lots meaning a long hot walk to the center. Also from the metro entrance are 4-5 good restaurants including the worlds BEST burger place: BurgerFuel... More

Try to get a hotel that connect to the Center via metro. The traffic around the center is very bad. The taxi is nightmare at rush hours and you could wait forever. My advice, the Metro is the best solution

This is a good venue for exhibitions in the GCC region. Many major ME conferences and exhibitions are hosted at this venue particularly during the winter months. The facilities here are adequate. The location of the venue is very convenient, being located in the heart of the city, and, it is easily accessible by both road and train. Also ,... More

For any large scale conference in UAE, this is the place. Centrally located, easy to reach by car and, most importantly, metro rail. Huge exhibition space and auditoriums spread over two storeys. One restaurant inside. Residential facility in addition to quite a few good hotels nearby. For visitors, the best feature is the metro rail station right in front of... More

This is a fantastic exhibition facility. They host all the major ME conferences and exhibitions and do so very well. I have been many times both as an exhibitor and a guest. It can get very busy for major events so car parking can be challenging although not impossible but it is well served by taxis and the Metro. Great... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
