It deserve to be visited. The sun light comes in through the glass and the dining area is good. I encourage everyone to check it.

Compared to the other larger malls in Dubai, unless you have a specific store in mind I would skip this mall. Its not got all that you would suggest, and even going their with some lady friends of mine it still did not have a plethora of choice. There is a cinema and a food court either end which are... Swift Parking, pleasing interiors, big brand .. what more needed? All that packed in a nice little architectural mall - Mercato. For me the biggest bonus was Virgin Megastore, spent more than an hour of real good time surfing the books :). Waiting to be there again.

After a gruelling shopping expedition, otherwise known as "The Dubai Mall experience", Mercato Mall is a welcome change. I love this mall, and here are the main reasons why- 1. Classically beautiful. Italian Renaissance in inspiration, it is the most beautiful theme mall I haver seen. There is a small fountain at the entrance and the facade is painstakingly European... More

Well, it's not so little to begin with. And it reminds you of Europe. Very Roman architecture and layout. The place has limited shopping options, but you have a great time as there is plenty of light. So, you get a feeling of being outdoors, and still have the comfort of the airconditioning, that offsets the merciless desert heat. One... More

A friend of mine took me here and I am glad she did. This mall is smaller and reminds me of a Souq. The architecture and design is absolutely beautiful. This is a must visit if you are in Dubai. I really enjoyed it and it was not too crowded. The stores are affordable ones as well. Enjoy!!

I like this mall but it offers limited shopping options. When I have the time, I visit it and just have coffee.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
