I didn't even know where to start. 4 levels and only got a chance to do one side of one level. Great attractions just in the vacinity. Burj Khalifa, right next door. Took a photo, 2 actually to fit. The Souk was not your average souk. Very over the top, but incredible. The fountain is worth a visit and a... More

This is a gigantic complex, calling it a shopping mall almost doesn't do it justice. What other mall do you know have a ice skating rink, waterfall, 150 million year old fossil skeleton and massive aquarium. It also has a few stores as well. Everything and anything is on sale. Fill your boots.

We rode the metro there, you need a couple of days to experience everything available. Every known restaurant/ store chain has a location there. Be prepared to walk for miles!

It's a beautiful, big mall. You can not finish it in just a day. Super clean and modern. Loved it. It also has a huge food court with many options.

You really do need days to see all this mall has to offer. There are around 1200 stores and construction is underway for expansion. We enjoyed visiting plenty of shops but really just scratched the surface. When returning to go up Burj Khalifa we walked through another section that was beautiful but we had no time to explore it. We... More

This shopping mall is the biggest and newest in the world. It is next to burj khalifa and the dubai fountain. You will find everything you are looking for. Worlds biggest fishtank is here, skateing ring, foodcourt and lots of restaurants outside next to dubai fountain. Could spend days here.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
