The fountain can be seen for a far distance. It is really magnificient high and there are open spaces at beach from where it can be appreciated. You can spend an evening around the area.

It's god place to sit in evening time to view tallest fountain or have a walk. A huge parking and play area for kids to enjoy.

The Kings fountain is absolutely beautiful! As you travel throughout Jeddah there's always a chance you'll get a peek of this fountain since it's so big. Up close is even better. The only time I was able to see it was during the night because I was there during Ramadan and people usually stay up all night and sleep all... More

worth to see if you are around jeddah, especially at night. the lightning makes it more beautiful. if you are lucky, you can see it, because it is not working everyday. they said thatonly if the king or the crown prince are here, they will turn it on..

This was my 4th time to Jeddah, but my first getting a chance to see the city during the day. I know others have said it is best seen at night, but it is something during the day. Because of how high it shoots up the water kind of floats with the wind making it almost look like a flag... More

Personally, i believe the sight is better than before but for me it doesnt desrve to have a trip to see it. Yes its nice but i believe it is difficult to find a place there because usually people take the proime locations unless you go there ealry ( before 6 pm in summer and before 11 am in winter)
