the mosque is located above the sea so it seems like it floats on it. the view at night was really nice especially with all the city light on. there is not too much to see because it is a praying mosque and you cannot enter it especially at praying time.

Worth going to. Locals not sure where it is, go to the end of the Corniche past Starbucks and it is close there.

The name "Floating Mosque" is a misnomer. This beautiful mosque is built along the Corniche in North Jeddah. If you are heading to the city center from North Jeddah you will definitely pass by this mosque.

The location shown in tripadvisor is not right, actually it is at the end of the corniche, around 4 km far from Red Sea mall. Usually parking after Maghreb is full, and the guard closes the Masjed after Ishaa prayer. The view is nice after Maghreb , it is actual name is Al Rehma Masjed, you can check it by... More

We found this beautiful Mosque by the Red Sea cost on the North Corniche a very refreshing stop for our prayers on time. Well proportioned design on stilts in the sea offers a magnificent sunset view if you are there in time for the prayer. However, it is so far from the city that one would not be inclined to... More

It's an average Saudi mosque. Mid-century modern architecture with a Middle Eastern twist to it. There are definitely more magnificent mosques in Jeddah than this. What is special about it is that it's located right on the Red Sea. But it's also in the far north of the city, far from the center. A good place to stop on the... More

It is a mosque built on stilts in the bay. It is beautiful with a picturesque background. I wouldn't cross the city just to see it, but if you are nearby is worth walking over.

This is one of my favorite places to perform Jumua salaat. Excellent masjid for men. Ladies section available, but my wife did complain that it was quite small and not so pleasant. Outside seating is available for those who wish to brave the Jeddah heat and humidity. Overall, a must see and a wonderful place to perform salaat 
