We found this beautiful Mosque by the Red Sea cost on the North Corniche a very refreshing stop for our prayers on time. Well proportioned design on stilts in the sea offers a magnificent sunset view if you are there in time for the prayer. However, it is so far from the city that one would not be inclined to... More
It's an average Saudi mosque. Mid-century modern architecture with a Middle Eastern twist to it. There are definitely more magnificent mosques in Jeddah than this. It is a mosque built on stilts in the bay. It is beautiful with a picturesque background. I wouldn't cross the city just to see it, but if you are nearby is worth walking over.
This is one of my favorite places to perform Jumua salaat. Excellent masjid for men. Ladies section available, but my wife did complain that it was quite small and not so pleasant. Outside seating is available for those who wish to brave the Jeddah heat and humidity. Overall, a must see and a wonderful place to perform salaat
but it is surrounded by water in three sides.to go inside is allowed only for men and women are allowed to pray outside, behind the mosque,in a very small enclosure .not my cup of tea ,but nice view of the sea from the shore
