early Byzantine complex in hama governorate on the outskirt of the Badia.. has a christian castle and a church and a camp. architecturally unique, and shows the very first example of the alternate color wall style that can be seen all over Damascus, and shows that it is not an islamic invention but Syrian christian. also the mixture between brics...
