A great collection of clothes and handicrafts worth browsing. Grab a fruitshake, buy a painting, and get some sweet grub from the 10 000 kip buffet down the alley (right before the bakery at the south end of the market). More

All of the food on this alley is cheap. Most of them are yummy local food. But I can't eat that tasteless 10,000 Kip buffet. My favorites are the noodle stall in the middle of the alley and the grill stall near by. The noodle is so delicious. More

We have our dinner at this night market every night during our stay at Luang Prabang. The buffet (one time) with 10,000 Kip is interesting. The baked fish is nice with 20,000 Kip. A great experience and we will go back again when we visit Luang Prabang in future. More

Over a month later, my friends and I are still drooling when we reminisce about the Luang Prabang Night Food Market. We ate here 3 or 4 nights out of the 5 that we were here; and I don't think a trip to Luang is complete without a visit here. You're sure to find some sort of food you'll like;... More

I loved Luang Prabang, but at first I was a bit shocked and put off by the number of restaurants and shops catering to Western tourists and was surprised to see so many "beautiful people" in Luang Prabang. I got used to that and enjoyed the honeymoon-quality walks along the river and of course the wonderful Buddhist temples. But one... More

The night market is a cute little flea market with some nice silk scarfs & table-runners. Lots of small things to remind you of Laos are sold here and there is a coffee stall which serves great coffee! The people are very friendly and calm unlike the other Asian markets. This is one of the only markets which is a... More
