It is a very nice place although not to access and not well maintained. It has a very good architectural artifact centuries old. Including Shah Jahan Mosque, Necropolis and Haleji Lake.

Chaukandi tombs are not listed in Tripadvisor and I cant find way to add it. It is not exactly in Thatta but 18 km east of Karachi (N 5 highway, Landhi town) It is a large necropolis with picturesque tombs of Jokhio and Baluch tribes. The first burials there were dated on 12 century. The tombs are poorly described in... More

Largest necropolis Makli is the main attraction. Besides that, the beautiful Thatta mosque is a must see. Keenjar lake nearby is a good place to have lunch and for boating.

This is an unknown gem near Hyderabad. The architecture is amazing, and it is well off the path most tourists tread along. It's a hot, sweaty day, but it is well worth the trip!

You can travel early morning form Karachi, and reach there at the right time. Its better to take along the food, and water (very important). there are many trees under which u can have a seat, but avoid the areas laong... More
