The architecture was great and the area around the Kasbah was very atmospheric. If you want to get back down to the Soula shopping centre (where there are lots of taxis for hire) go down through the streets of the Medina rather than the main road - the main road is dusty, dirty and a bit overwhelming with communal taxis... The fortress because of its obvious location provide a great view onto the city but this is all you will get really. However, do not miss a visit to the Archaeological Museum which is underground the kasbah where beautiful mosaics are on display dating of the roman period.
