We left Cairo and went on a day trip to Alexandria where we saw Danial mosque, Roman amphitheatre, Fort Quaitby, Amud el sawari (Pompei’s Pillar), the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa,the English tour at the Alexandrina Bibliotheca and then ended off with Montazah Palace Gardens.
