Let me tell you. First of all, it overlook the beautiful Mediterranean - the sea that changes colors with its moods: sometimes it is... More

I envy people of Alexandria for having such a wonderful coastline. It is enjoyable all seasons of the year. It is an available, cheap outing for anyone. However, avoid being there during rush hours.

Its a dream to spend evening at Mediterranean Sea for everyone knows about its beauty. I got a chance to spend evening around it. Its was beautiful walk at the Corniche with cold breeze. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and nice beach to play around at the Corniche. I would strongly advise to spend an evening here if... More

it's shame such nice coastline wide boulevard was choked with traffic in a weekday non-rush hour, with all the pollution, noise, litters, run-down historical buildings, this place desperate need a face-lift, along with some decent mass transit.

Quintessential Alexandria. As the rest of the city, the Corniche is overwhelmed by traffic, polution and trash. If you can manage to cross thecorniche you will have great view of the sea, waves washing trash upon the beach. It is a disgusting site, and to think that one side of the mediterranean is worried about the effects of building to... More

Sometimes the simplest memories of places you visit are the natural ones, the free ones, the ones just showing life as it is. Alexandria's Corniche is one of these beautiful places and there are many cafes where you can just sit and watch the boats, the people walking around, the different cultures, clothes, and even listen to the different languages.... Talking a walk on the Corniche or sitting in one of it's many café's gives you a feeling of this great city, all it's opposites meshed together yet separate.
