I leave here -- well, actually I leave in Eforie Nord, just 2 km to the north (or just 2 km before, as traveling from Constanta to Mangalia). So pretty obviously, this is my favore of favorite places ;)

Even our accomodation was great, we couldn't enjoy our holiday because of the bad management of this old place at the seaside. The beach was very dirty, full with big rocks. The shops were empty, we coudn't find almost anything.

I went to Eforie Sud for the first time this year. So far I have only been to Eforie Nord. Before coming here, I read a lot of reviews about it, some for it, some against it, so I didn't know what to expect. But I had a great accomodation in a small hotel, very clean and tidy. The resort... More

The water is not made for swimming in. The beach is sandy above the water but as you go deeper in the water it covered with rough pebbles and huge rocks that go hurling at you when the sea is rough. The water is really warm so even if you go at midnight its still nice. Also there are a... More

This is more a village then anything, there's not much to do besides sunbathing. The beaches nearby are wild and not crowded but lots of garbage seething around :-( This cud be a nice place but not yet!

The resort is very far away from getting my "very good" rating. The beach is quite dirty, and the beach chairs rental companies are skinning tourists for their money - 15-20 ron (almost 5 euros!!) for a run-down full of sand dirty chair. But if you do not spend a week there, i recommend getting one. However, the accommodation we... More

We saw not much small jellyfish :D At night, it's very alive...We saw a lot teenagers our age :D It's a place... More

Clean beaches and warm sea. A great family destination close to the Saline mud baths. Night life perfect for young family, with a pleasant evening arcade.

Sandy but rather narrow beach, warm water in summer months, nice sea front.Quiet. In north-east you can find Techirghiol lake renowned for its therapeutic properties mud. Extremely crowded in summer, including the access roads. All in all I think there are better beaches on romanian shore, for example Mamaia or the portion between Saturn and Venus.
