I was more interested in the tower, I always like to take landscape pictures from the places I visit, and the tower offered a very good view over the Ovidiu (Old Town) Square

Check it out, the views from the top is gorgeous. 360 degrees, there are approximately 140 to the top. Inside the Mosque was a bit small compared to most. But all in all, it the experience that counts.

I never entered a mosque even being in the whole north Africa. I entered in a small yard, from there inside the mosque, looked at the decorations and the largest carpet from Europe I remember. This was the first reinforced concrete building from Romania. AFter that I climbet to the minaret top. It can be difficult in the heat of... More

It is worth visiting the tower in order to have a 360 gr. view. Very well maintained. I was surprised that they have an entrance fee. It used to be free.

The mosque is very preaty. But the real attraction is to take the stairs and go to the top. From there you can see the old city and admire the sea. I recomand it.

A fairly modest mosque but you do get to go up the minaret which isn't always an option. Great view from the top.

The Mosque of Constanta is one place that shouldn't be missed while visiting this old city. After you climb the round stairs, you will have a better view of Constanta, and one that will actually amaze you. Don't forget, climb to the rooftop :)

Stunning views from the top of the minaret Inside the mosque, the carpet took one lady 17 years to produce and weighs 450kg. It is impressive. We enjoyed a very interesting explanation from a young girl outside the Mosque who described the prayer time and processes and the differences as applied to males and females

A nice landmark in the centre of Constanta, Ovidiu square, on your way to the Constanta Cazino. Take care: Don't go upstairs very quickly or you will get dizzy from the spiral staircase inside and watch your head, and especially legs, while going up!! Nice panorama from the balcony. Don't miss the praying room, full of nicely coloured Oriental carpets.... More
