It was free, but there wasn't Much there. If you used your imagination, you could envision the city walls running each way in the middle ages.

Very beautiful, and in a lovely, shady garden-setting. Also very relaxing, which is what you need after the stress of the main square and the Black Church.

One thing that I like about this place is not really the gate itself but the park which surrounds it. The narrow paths and the carrefully-painted buildings really create an old, and beautiful atmosphere.
You might just want to sit on a bench and admire the area (if it's calm) or picture yourself in the past.

This ornate gate was the original entry in Brasov from the Schei District and is much more delightful to look at compared to Schei gate.
