The wide square, chocked with adorable and inviting cafes, was once the heart of medieval Brasov In the center of all the action, stands the Old City Hall. It houses the 2-story Brasov Historical museum which recounts the history of the Saxon guilds. It is showcased by numbers, with limited English, but it is worth a visit.

The City Hall of Brasov is the heart of the council square and also the heart of Brasov. It represents the main symbol of this city. It is also a great history museum you can visit any day. I really enjoyed the time spent there.

The Brasov city hall is an attractive building in Council Square. We did not visit the museum but what we could see of the interior was nice. It has obviously been kept in good condition.

You wont find many places in eruope with such a relaxing ambience amidst an old town. Be it the sunset time, especially in the winter, when i travelled, you will have very few visitors around, and you could just sit and relax and enjoy the old town atmosphere around.

In the middle of the Old City there is a square, where you can find the City Hall. It is from the 13. century, and looks great. There is a small museum and the tourist information office inside.
