We have installed easy to read informational plaques and a media room for our visitors. We are currently restoring the park, as well as renovating all the facilities. We are also preparing additional cultural events and entertainment for our visitors.Following the Castle’s change of ownership, director Narcis Ion remained with the Ministry of Culture, but has continued to be our valued advisor. We have welcomed a new group of managing directors: Lia Doru Trandafir, Corin Trandafir, and Alexandru Priscu. We are happy to receive every guest that comes to visit us.Welcome to our castle, our home.Sincerely,Dominic HabsburgMaria-Magdalena HolzhausenElisabeth Sandhofer « less

Not many people there which was nice, tour guide focused a lot on the history of the castle when really we just wanted to look around on our own!

An easy half day trip from Brasov and well worth it for the experience of looking through a well preserved castle. Can get very busy during the summer months so try and arrive early before the crowds as it can get very hot inside the castle and be slow going. Overall a great castle to visit.

After reading a few of the other views was left with mixed views, which I think was good. I was expecting it to be a lot busier than it was but I think because we visited on a Tuesday it wasn't so bad. I would recommend you go as early as you can, because when we were leaving around 1pm... More

unless you are taken in by bram stokers novel it is not what you expect. This is a beautiful place with great legends and mystery, I felt completely at home here in these beautiful surroundings I hope when new owners are found that this continues to be a great attraction.

Visited during my trip to Romania after recommendation. Stunning scenery, very interesting history of Vlad the Impaler and a must when visiting Romania.

I wanted to see Draculas real castles so I went to Hunyad Castle (best by far) and the Poenari Castle of Vlad Tepes. Although I don't think Bran castle is associated with the real Dracula, they certainly market it that way. The castle is fun to walk through, there are so many rooms and half of them closed off. You... More

Bran Castle was probably the first attraction on my list when I knew I'd be visiting Romania. It is probably the best known of the Romanian castles due to the tenuous link with Dracula (Vlad Tepes). I'd anticipated the visit and was quite disappointed when I actually got to visit. The exterior of the castle isn't as striking as other... More

I was so disappointed in the castle. All that was included inside was info on the former royal family that now lives in the U.S. somewhere. There was one poster and uniform of Vlad Tepesh and a Teutonic Knight. There is no history there. Really sad.

Inside was busy but we could move with ease and could see everything. Its an amazing castle with alot of political history. The Dracular story was... More

Well, the scenery makes it a 3/5 otherwise i would have give it a 2... It´s not that it´s that bad, i guess that we just expected more, the feeling we got was a lot of it was new made and did not fel autentic at all. It was so much people so could hardly walk around at all. Some... More
