I had a very quick stroll around this pretty, old square. Snow, wind, and cold kept it vacant of people. Nothing seemed to be open. Took some photos and left. I'm sure it is much better in the summer!

Beautiful -- old buildings. Functional -- people coming together for a peaceful environmental march. Fun -- splashpad of water for the kids. Relaxing -- patios serving beer. Yummy -- Gelato counter.

Fantastic old buildings and museums, pleasant pavement cafes, local market was setting up as we left.

A nice place to spend in the evening walking around. Interesting history too. One of the most popular sites of the town.

Number one of things to do, simply because this square is so dominant. The local authority have left a number of map panels on posts referring to the 2007 European Capital of Culture status. One of the things that impressed us is the local authority cleaning staff, sweeping up late at night - when it's not so obvious to visitors... More

This square reminded me of tales and Disney films. The windows in the roofs made the houses look as if they had eyes. Beautiful to walk, sit on a bench eating delicious Romanian pastry, take pictures, etc.

Whenever you see Sibiu on Tv or in other types of media this is the place they advertise mos and after being there you find out why.
