The tower is very old. The entrace fee is cheap-only 2 ron. The climbing could be a little difficult, but there are photos exhibitions between floors, so it can take a break. Also the top view worths the climbing.

On the way up you can stop off at the various levels to enjoy the photo and Art Exhibitions. Once you reach the top you can enjoy the view and look at the mechanics of the Clock inside the tower. An enjoyable attraction.

For only 2 lei entrance fee you can get a good view of the town from four sides of the tower. Breath taking sight of this old medieval town.

It was built in XIII century (1224-1241), its being on the ground floor entrance gate in the second fortification belt of the city. Over time, it has undergone several restorations, which have altered the original form. Council Tower is located in Piata Mica

The stairs are not that bad and half way up there is an exhibition space so it's not really tiring. It was empty the day I went and they were playing Beethoven through speakers within the towers. One of the highlights of Sibiu, views of the medieval town and brooding mountains, the classical music really suited the whole experience.

Situated in the heart of the historical center, it is very easy to find. It is not the most impressive medieval tower in Europe, but is one of the most famous in Transylvania. It has his charm because you can admire from above the center of Sibiu and you will find nice spots for taking pictures. Also inside are exhibitions,... More

I went to the Evangelical Church Tower the previous day and had a nerve wrecking experience climbing up those stairs since I am afraid of heights. Compared to that tower, this was a blessing that made my day. Sturdy stairs, breathtaking view up there and a wonderful surprise: an amazing photography exhibition om multiple levels of the tower surrounded by... More
