If you have sufficient time whilst visiting Sibiu this open air museum is well worth a visit. Was a little hard to find, but once there the museum provided a nice walking trail through buildings and dwellings of varying Romanian cultures.

It a definite must see while in Sibiu. It is a large and well kept open air museum which offers a look into Romanian households throughout the country from decades ago. Even though I am almost in my 30s I could not help but feel nostalgic when seeing some of the rural houses and 'technologies' used to carry out daily... More

We only got to see the outside of the houses but i really liked this place. It's like a big park where you can also see interesting stuff. The mills where particularly interesting.

Spent several hours walking around this park. A must for the photographer! There is also a nice little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor serving. Old windmills, houses in traditional styles, wagons, etc.

Spent there only 2 hours in the afternoon and got fascinated by the nice scenery and the history of the Romanian village. I was very disappointed that I had to leave after just 2 hours. This place requires 5+ hours for a complete visit. Overall, this is a must in Sibiu.
