Beautiful cathedral

This wasn't as old as I thought it was going to be but that in no way mattered. It was beautiful. Not sure what else to say about a cathedral. Just a beautiful building.

Varna's equivalent to Sofia's Aleksander Nevski Church...it dominates the Varna center with its beautiful golden domes...not much time needed to check it out...there are some impressive murals inside but a photo fee is charged...

It's amazing. You must visit it. It's in the central part of the city. At the night the building is lighted with different colours

This cathedral located quite in the center of Varna, so as for me, it is a visit card of the city. Its really atmospheric and full of prays place. On my opinion, if you stay in Varna, visit it also at night, church has beatiful illumination.

This is one of the biggest church in Bulgaria, so you definitely should not miss that. It's one of the most famous attraction in the city of Varna. Even if u are not christian it's not bad to see it, very impressive old religion building.

From the 18 cathedrals in Bulgaria this is the only one in the area and the second best cathedral in Bulgaria after Alexander Nevski in Sofia. Don't miss it if you're visiting Varna.
