The most beautiful old building in Varna

It's amazing. You must visit it. It's in the central part of the city. At the night the building is lighted with different colours

This cathedral located quite in the center of Varna, so as for me, it is a visit card of the city. Its really atmospheric and full of prays place. On my opinion, if you stay in Varna, visit it also at night, church has beatiful illumination.

This is one of the biggest church in Bulgaria, so you definitely should not miss that. It's one of the most famous attraction in the city of Varna. Even if u are not christian it's not bad to see it, very impressive old religion building.

From the 18 cathedrals in Bulgaria this is the only one in the area and the second best cathedral in Bulgaria after Alexander Nevski in Sofia. Don't miss it if you're visiting Varna.

This cathedral is worth seeing if only for the architecture. There is no fee but an offering is accepted. If you want to take photographs of the interior the fee is less than $5. The interior artwork is also very impressive although in need of some repair in a few places. Cathedrals are designed to make the visitor feel small... More

This place was just beautiful. There were workers inside that were very strict about visitors not disrespecting the building. They wanted money if you took any photos inside the church but you can find that request in many churches these days. It is located on the main road and lots of public transportation to get to it. Don't miss out... More

This 19 century cathedral has a stylish baroc architecture and is all painted with murals, with a big nice wooden iconostasis and lots of icons. Visiting it gives one a real sence of devine presence, serenity and escape from everything that suppresses you.

This cathedral is the symbol of Varna. Even if you go to Varna just to sunbathe, this is the one place you should see apart from the beach and the sea. I really appreciated its architecture, golden-like domes and mural paintings.
