We fell in love with Plovdiv. It is such a charming city with its cobble stone streets, ancient ruins, galleries, and art cafes.

If you have a few hours to spend in Plovdiv you must visit the old town ! It is so well kept that you can see the life 200 years ago just in front your eyes. The houses are very beautiful. Sit to some coffee shop and enjoy the view.

Interesting architecture, Roman, Ancient, medieval and Renaissance history dating II century after Christ, all mixed up in one place. Nice atmosphere, close to city center, maybe 10 minutes walk to it, to step into 21 century. can walk around freely to the top of the hills and see the beautiful view. Plovdiv is a cosmopolitan town.

Plovdiv is the Old Town. It is small, and can be covered in half a day, but is well worth visiting for the Roman remains.

The Old Town is very well preserved. People can see some really good architecture. Some of the houses are museums. There are a couple of very cosy piano bars and summer bars as well.

I love everything in Plovdiv! In this historical town, the people are nice (though it could be not so easy to communicate with the older generations as they speak minimum English) food is superb - u can find local cuisines here easily and not too costly. During my travel - weather was excellent (about 19deg Celc) for someone that has... More

It is a shame that Plovdiv is not considered to be so interesting or exciting place to visit. It amazed what you can find here. With its old town, modern street grafiti, nice shops and a mall,it is possible to find something for everybody.I was attending an international faire back in April, and they where extremely professional people. And it wasn't so expensive, and they serve great...
