In order to enjoy a free view of the Old Bridge, you don't have to pay a fee to climb the minaret, just pass beside the ablution fountain in the courtyard of the mosque and turn left to the terrace with a view. Being the view from the north, the best time to take the photos on a sunny day...

This is a lovely little jewel of a mosque. Although the interior looks similar to other mosques in Mostar, this one has a secret--you can climb to the top of the minaret. Completed in 1618, the Ottoman Koskin-Mehmed Pasha Mosque sits on the bank of the River Nerevta. Following war damage, it has been extensively restored and still retains many of it's original features.
