this is a beautiful and VERY cold river. The green colour is amazing. If you are there it is worth to go on a rafting trip. we had and you will never see anything like that in your life.

The Neretva River is a nice green fast flowing river. The river itself is quite scenic but the buildings on either side make it look quite special.

This is the river that runs through the old part of Mostar in particular the river flowing under the Old Bridge. A water clear and sometimes impetuous (depends on what part of the city is watched). I saw people kayaking in particular I saw people jump from the Old Bridge from a height of more than 20 meters, a show... More

This lovely green river flows very fast straight from the high mountains further up the country. It is a dramatic river both in terms of its speed and its colour. The water is extremely cold, although you're likely to see it from high above and not touch it. It makes a beautiful sight, particularly as it flows under Mostar's iconic... More

In November, when I visited, rushing water entered the Neretva from every direction. I could even hear one of the nearby waterfalls.

The photos say it all. Most people come to Mostar to see the Old Bridge, what you don't expect is the amazing colour of the Neretva River below. The west bank is the Christian side while the east is the Muslim side, were you find most of the mosques and the bazaar. The small tributary of the Radobolja River branches... More

The freshest and coldest river I've ever been in. Beautiful. Its colour is something... Take advantage of it!

One of the most beautiful colored river in the world. It is also one of the most valuable natural water resources for both Bosnia and Hercegovina and Croatia

This river have seen so many differnet times: wars, dead bodies, but also marriages, happy children... It has beautiful blue color, a little cold, but for strong men is the best for swimming. Or you can only sit there and watch...for hours!
