It is very close to the main street, so you have no reason to don't pass by it and have a quick stop to take a picture catching the country spirit, "newborn".

I wanted this to blow me away. However sadly it's just a bit odd. I know of the symbolism but it's just pretty small and doesn't make a huge impression

Pristina generally is not a particularly attractive place to be and Newborn Monument is a part of the trend. Just take 5 minutes to see it while enjoying fine ice cream...

if you were in Pristina a few days before Independence, then you can visit this monument. Usually is very dirty with numerous graffiti, but before the day of independence, the monument gets a new color every year!

The first street art "monument" in Pristina. It is a must to make a selfie in front for people visiting.

The monument was really pretty and artistic and all those little writings in it made it to be part of the city and it's citizens.

The Newborn monument is probably not a typical sight you might expect from a old city like Pristina but you definitely should visit it. It is THE symbol of modern Kosovo and fits perfectly to the rapid development of the city and the whole country. I really liked the creative graffiti and stickers on it which are often reflected and... More

Although it feels a bit manufactured, not many countries can boast a monument to their newness so that makes it pretty cool...along with the myriad signatures that have been added since it was installed.
