It is a key attraction for the locals so you shouldn't miss it. It is interesting that the colors of the letters are changed due to different themes.

This "monument" consists of the letters "NEWBORN" spelled out in metal letters that are rather marked up with grafiti. Good photo op.

The monument itself is exactly what you would expect, a row of letters saying 'Newborn'. Good for a photo, but it is what it stands for which is more poignant.

This monument was covered in graffiti and painted with camouflage and bullet holes. Not uplifting at all.

Nice location to take some pictures, but nothing more than that. The sign changes design now and then, which makes it more fun.

a pretty interesting sight to seeing. It a monument of big letters placed in a row. Well worth seeing, and then meaning behind it makes it that much more powerful and sight.

Apparently this thing gets repainted with various themes. When I saw it, it was painted with camoflague colors, which seemed ironic given that it was trying to celebrate the end of war. There was also a beer and wine festival nearby (though not going on when I stopped here on a Sunday morning) but the area was pretty dirty. I... More

What's to say? I think the sign is brilliant and a wonderful memory of what it is like to be a new country, have a new start, continuing on. It was painted in camouflage when I was there but seems to change colors whenever the desire hits people. It's fun to take a few photos here.

The NEWBORN sign is easy to find in Prishtina. Take a couple of pics with your family and friends then head on to any of the wonderful cafes.
