For a small price of 5 Euros, you will be take on a round trip journey from the harbor of Perast to this island monastery in the middle of Kotor Bay. The monastery is small and not too impressive. What is impressive is the journey to and from the island. It is such a pleasant journey.

Very nice artificial island in marvelous Boka bay. Across Perast nearest. You can be taken by boat also from Risan. There is an icon which was made by a women from her hair while she was waiting for her husband to come back from sailing. While she was making it she got blind. Some very nice paintings are found inside.... More

This is a must visit church but it is not really in Kotor. It is located in Perast which could be reached on a taxi within 30 minutes. Go listen to the magical history behind the church and look at the impressive collection in the church.

I am so glad we made it out to this beautiful and historical church in Boka Bay. We had a great guide even though it was through a ship tour. The artwork and handiwork of the church was amazing. Very glad we took the time to go here.

My wife and I saw this island from the cruise ship as we sailed into Kotor. I thought to myself, if we have time we are going. As it worked out we did go out to this island and if anyone is in Koto, I would strongly recommend taking the time to visit this little island in the bay. It... More

Visible from the whole Boka-Kotorska bay, this amazing small island is so so so beautiful. From Perast is the closest to get there by boat. They also have a nice tradition of keeping this island alive by bringing more stones each year on July 22nd. Very picturesque and interesting. Seat have a drink on the shore and just look. Enjoy!

Amazing is weak word! Beautiful small island with amazing story from the past. Church is beautiul! Ask about some piece of art on the walls to hear breathtaking stories. View from it to the Perast and Boka bay is great also.

We took a boat from Perast to the tiny island on which the church stands. You only need half an hour to take in the church and the little museum but it is certainly worth the visit to view the many interesting artefacts.

I only had half an hour in this tiny island so I took a quick peek at the church and visited the museum for 1 euro. Found interesting items like household items, a chest and many art pieces & paintings in there which is worth a visit. There's also a small souvenir shop within. It costs 5 euros to cross... More
