If you visit Novi Sad, you must come to Petrovaradin fortress. Place to enjoy, to have a nice bunch or business diner, or to eat delicious KREMPITA (typical cake of this region) on the fortress terrace.

It is one of the top sites to visit in Novi Sad. You have to cross the river to get in and climb a lot of stairs but it worth. The place is not really nice indeed but the views you can see there are nice.

One of the sites along the Danube river worth visiting. It has charm of old times, going back into XVIII century is wonderful experience. Many historical events took place at/around this fortification, as well as many romantic, unforgettable moments have stayed in hearts of people/couples that shared the view, atmosphere, food, music of the place.

Petrovaradin Fortress is a spectacularly set fortress on the right bank of the Danube on the only high ground around the city. It commands sweeping views for miles and it's grounds are so extensive that you will definitely find a quiet spot to sit and relax. There are a few galleries and the museum of the city and of the... great venue, easy to get lost but thats not a bad thing. awsome acoustics from the walls. dance arena is too far away and stairs down are a death trap, they seriously need looking at.
