Coffee festival was amazing!

The Rynok Square was classic European.....families, young people, couples, children, people who love music, coffee and being out and about among others in this great city.

Great to walk around. Very Krakow-like. Unfortunately Stalin's hate to Lviv is visible everywhere. Ruined buildings, and horrible, horrible streets layout. Advise: avoid driving with your own car.

I arrived in Lviv on a Sunday afternoon in mid-October a couple of weeks before the national elections and this square was alive with electioneering and big crowds including many families. There were huge traffic jams, unusual, I was told for a Sunday. The crowds were so thick that walking anywhere near this area was an exercise is pushing and... More

Heart of the city. Nice looking buildings, museums and restaurants. Could be overcrowded if there is a fair or holiday. But still very nice!

Market Square this name can be misleading, in fact it is the German word “Ring”. Later because of the wrong pronunciation, we have the modern name "rynok." nothing to do with the market. This is the largest Square of the old city. evening can be pleasant to sit on the summer terrace. For variety you can drink at the bar... More

If you can make your way up to the tower (an obstacle both in terms of number of steps as well as poor signage), you will get a great view of not just the market sqaure, but all of Lviv. As you climb the steps, notice the glass encasement housing the machinery of the bell!

The Market Square or Plosha Rynok as it is called in Ukrainian is the main and central square in the city of L'viv. The current location of the Market has its origin from the second half of the 14th century, when the Lviv was rebuilt like a typical city in Western Europe with its center - a rectangular area measuring... A must see for any Lviv visitor. A starting point for a walk around old town with many nice places to eat and drink a cup of coffee.

Lots of shops and people relaxing and enjoying their day. Taking time for a coffee or a refreshing beer.

The first place, that all tourists wants to see while visiting this beautiful city. If you haven't see the Market Square or Ploshcha Rynok (in Ukrainian) - you weren' in Lviv.
