Terrific museum with extraordinary works of amazing sculpture master Johann Pinzel. You will be astonished by the beauty of masterpieces made of wood – and there was no greater master of such art than Pinzel. These sculptures were saved from fire by the Hero of Ukraine, director of Picture Gallery Borys Voznyckyi. Come and see – it’s inspiring!

Very good, educational and impressive. Attended during the annual discount tours and was very satisfied, find out lots of new things and now can easily recognize Pinzel sculptures anywhere I go. He is for sure well known outside of Ukraine.

It is closed. Government is promissing to give money for the renovation of the building. We've been said that sculptor Pinzel's masterpieces will be exhibited in the building of the Art Gallery and in Olesko castle after they are on loan to LOUVRE .

I'm not really expert in art and sculpture, but Pinzel's masterpieces impressed me a lot. Those sculptures are very unusual, emotional and dynamic. For such a small fee, you will enjoy it a lot.

Pinzel museum is located in Mytna Square, in the building that used to be a church right near the tram #2 stop. The sculptures are simply magnificent and the place they are located creates some strange impression of deep silence and devotion. The old church was not renovated for long time and is in rather bad condition, but the sculptures... More
