I came here on a rainy afternoon with my husband, brother and grandma while visiting my family in Lviv. This museum is rather small and in the space of what used to be an old monastery. If you have a half hour to kill and you're looking for something to see in the art realm, this is definitely a must... More

I have not seen anything like that before. Wooden sculptures seem to look much more realistic than famous statues of Madame Tussot.

I am astonished by beauty and unusualness of this art. I saw some wood statues before but they were never such close to life. I can't imagine how this master made it but what I saw was great!

I can't find the right words to describe this place. Those sculptures are astonishing, terrific, wonderful, unique... Lots of words but they tell not much. Just come and see yourself

Terrific museum with extraordinary works of amazing sculpture master Johann Pinzel. You will be astonished by the beauty of masterpieces made of wood – and there was no greater master of such art than Pinzel. These sculptures were saved from fire by the Hero of Ukraine, director of Picture Gallery Borys Voznyckyi. Come and see – it’s inspiring!

If you have been to Lviv and haven't visited Pinzel Museum it would be real epic fale. It's like being in Paris and not seing Louvre museum. The wooden sculptures of Master Pinzel are so strange and so beautifel in the same time so everyone who sees them are astonished and amazed. Take into account that museum can be closed... More
