It's not amazing but the water's clear. I guess it depends what you want. Not the place for sandy, peaceful relaxing but great for a dip after wandering in the heat all morning

Very stony; very painful to get into the water without anything on your feet. Also, some idiots had broken some green beer bottles on the little bit of sand/shingle where we sat. Got a great cheeseburger in the middle cafe above though...didn't get it's name.

Before visiting this beach, I read the reviews and saw the people complaining about the rocks. I thought 'are they crazy? in these pictures it seems like a pebble beach' But they were right! There are IMMENSE rocks under the water, it is crazy, I had never seen something like this. It makes it very hard to stand up under... More

No one cleaning the beach, stuff from drunk kids all over the beach. Much better places to go to in Zadar

Despite rocks EVERY WHERE, this beach is amazing! Very close to the city center, you can actually walk there if you wanted to. Don't let the closeness to the city fool you. Once you get there, it seems like a place far and removed from an urban setting. Wonderful bars and restaurants.

Close to the city center and it's quite large. You can play volleyball there, drink cafes, eat ice cream and watch handsome guys :D

It is really close to the historical city center (Poluotok), just 10 minutes walk. Inspite of the urban location, you don't hear cars passing by and don't see any big ugly building. I as there at the end of October, so it was quite empty and calm, but some nice bars were still open and the weather was warm enough... More

About a 20 minute walk from the center or you can drive. Chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Like other beaches we visited in Croatia, it is pretty rocky so water shoes are recommended. It was very crowded when we were there toward the end of the afternoon. A better idea may be one of the private beaches. Porta... More

The main disadvantage of the beach is the rocks. Ignore that and you will find yourself in one of the best beaches to spend morning bathing or some nice afternoon walk combined sitting in one of the caffes, especially tequila sunrise. There is also high springboard for the brave ones!

It is a fine beach to visit if you are near the city center. There are changing "tents" and one or two paid-per-use showers at the beach. Oh it has a big swim area (330 m by maybe 80m).
