Very nice idea, we really enjoyed few minutes of music of the stairs that go down the sea. It is an underground orga that is played by the waves and air. You can see round holes on top of the marble pavement, but also straight holes on the stairs towards the sea. Very interesting effect when the waves from big... More

Rather unbelievable that the sounds were produced to the degree they were. We were there on a day when the sea was relatively calm so the sound was not as vibrant as some say. A fabulous setting and a great way to relax and enjoy the sounds as well as the beauty of the area.

This awesome attraction was opened to the public on 15 April 2005, with the purpose of redesigning the new city coast. The project consists of 35 tubes with little round holes on the sidewalk, from where the movement of the sea pushes the air to go outside, producing amazing sounds! Depending on the size and velocity of the wave, random... More

An ingenious and beautiful idea - an organ that responds to the waves. I could sit and listen to this for hours. Truly special.

that's the real feelling of this incredible organ! it's hard to believe that someone has thought to build marble steps with a system of pipes that resonate beneath the wind and hit of the waves!

I am still in love with the sea organ. I didn't know what to expect and I was really surprised by the sea organ. Really special and completely different thing to see and listen. That, combined with a beautiful sunset, is a must do in Croatia.

I mentioned the sea organ in my main write-up about Zadar. Its one of the most visited attractions here, and all the travel books tell you about it,but it is worth a visit. As you get closer to its position on the promonade, you start to hear its haunting moans! It reminds me of a land version of dolphins or whales singing,and... More

When I made the plan for this vacation, I expected a lot about this place. It never made me disappointed. It was really difficult to leave this place. I love the sound it made and the atmosphere there. Atmosphere is really nice both day and night.

This is such a clever idea. I loved the sounds it created and it gave a rather magical feeling to walking along the sea front

It's good staying in the stairs and listening the sound that the sea produces. Unfortunately, as almost everything in croatia there is a lot of people around that make too much noise. But it's very romantic and you can find a great harmony.
