I went to Medulin with my husband and teenage son in the beginning of August. At that time the streets and the beach are totally pact with tourist. The sandy beach turned out to be a disappointment. Mostly because of the water that was muddy and dirty. Shopping was not a pleasant activity as most of the sellers were to... More

The is little local atmosphere and no relaxing ambience. Fully catering to tourist families from nearby campsites. There is a nightly carnival with kids entertainment: roller coaster, dodgem cars etc. great for kids...

Just come back from our break in Medulin - totally relaxing holiday in a very pretty area of Croatia. We found crystal clear sea, clean beaches, friendly locals and really good local produce used in our restaurant meals - the fish and salads are excellent, as is the local wine. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break. And... More

The village is very nice, there is a tacky touristy side which is enjoyable with fun fair rides. The villages is very neat and lovely. The street lighting is not as good as in Britain, so be a bit careful where you are. It isn't dangerous and we never felt threatened but almost got a little lost.

We stayed in Medulin. It is well worth a visit. Fantastic harbour front. And the village is well worth exploring. Don't forget the church in the centre of the village. It is quite literally the centre of the village. All roads and alleyways start and finish from here.

Stopped here for a week in august and found everything we could want in a holiday village. Plenty of resturants, bars, shops, supermarkets etc. There is a beach around the 1 side of the peninsula which is very busy but you can walk past it - through the camp site and find areas with few people. The other side of... More

It is one of the very few sand beaches in Istria - very crowded, water extremely dirty. You have to walk about 200m to be able to swim, could be suitable for children as shallow water is very warm, but we were disgusted by the rabbish in the water and on the beach.
