I don't know how to do justice to War Photo in words, and that is it's strength. I didn't really know what to expect before I went - it was in no was gruesome, just honest, direct and balanced. I leant more about the realities of living with conflict that any other museum, exhibition, history lesson or travels I have... More

This exhibition is a sobering reminder of what the inhabitants of Dubrovnik suffered 20 years ago. A moving experience.

This is located just up the 4th street, Antuninska, from the left off Placa if you have come in by the Pile Gate. The notes you are given to accompany the tour of the photos is very comprehensive. There are certainly some moving, tragic and thought provoking pictures but please don't let that put you off from gaining a better insight... More

Excellent, shocking photos following in chronological order the conflicts in the 1990's in and around Dubrovnik. Makes one appreciate the fairytale beauty of the old city and the spirit of the people even more after seeing what went on

A comprehensive exhibition of photos of the various conflicts in the former Yugoslavia during the 1990s. Some stunning images, many very moving. Very poignant to see the pictures of Dubrovnik. A particularly striking exhibit combined a slide show of images with sound bites from politicians, soldiers, refugees and ordinary people.

Some great if hard-to-look-at photos from across the countries which made up the former Yugoslavia. The fact this war is so recent made it all the more moving somehow.

This exhibition gives an overview of the wars between the different ethnic groups of ex-jugoslavia. It was difficult to find it between all the restaurants and bars in a small side street of Dubrovnik. The photographs are explained by a booklet you get at the entrance. They are group by the different wars between 1991(Croatia) and 1999(Macedonia). The photographs are... More
