This harbour with all the small boats and the lovely clear water is a compliment to the sites of the old town. We were there on a rainy day so we probably missed the best of it. On a good day this would be a great place to sit and relax after the a walk through the old town One... More

My absolute favourite place in one of my favourite cities. The city harbour is located at the far end of the Stradun, by the Ploce Gate. It is a picturesque and lively place, full of small boats bobbing on clear blue sea, surrounded by Dubrovnik's attractive and sturdy walls. It's a lovely place to come and enjoy the views, to... Great views, nice to stroll along, with some bars and restaurants that looked appealing. I took a public bus from the gate of the old city, had a great tour, and it cost a pitance. A lovely elderly couple on the bus advised where I could find a pleasant walking path. The people in Dubrovnik were endlessly friendly and helpful.... More

Full of tourists and an extension of the ancient city of Dubrovnik, the City Harbor is mainly the spot to reserve cruises to the Adriatic Islands or to go to Lokrum. A section is in the old town, mainly for bigger boats and cruises. The promenade is lined with a variety of restaurants and bars. Stairways give access to other... More

It appears that two separate areas are being reviewed in one destination and those who rate it one or two stars are instead referring to the port at Gruz, not the Old Town harbour. The Old City Harbour is a colourful place day or night. The harbour throngs with tourists during the day as this is where the smaller boats... More

Dubrovnik is a magical place and the harbour is the soul of it. We see many fisherman coming with their boats and we can imagine exactly how it used to be centuries ago.

One of the best cities of mediterranean to stay a couple of a days. Too busy in the summer... But certainly worth the visit.

This is a beautiful part of the town right next to the Old Town Walls. From the walls you can look down on the harbor to people watch and take pictures. If you go down to the harbor there are some nice restaurants there where you sit in the shade, have drinks and relax while watching the boats come and... More

We walked all around the harbour and sat and watched lots of pleasure boats coming and going, enjoying the sunshine and all the sites. Not to be missed!

It is a great place to just chill out and enjoy the scenery around you. Whether you are there day time or night there is always something happening and a great atmosphere around you. Lots of boats trip leave from the harbour which is ideal if you are wanting to explore Dubrovnik. There is also plenty of restaurants/cafe's. Fab!!
