The main reason to visit the harbour is that this is where the boat trips depart from. Ther are many stalls offering trips. The one that we took was down the coastlto Cavtat. You can spend as long as you want here as the boats run all day, there are some restaurants here for lunch, you can also walk round... More

I loved the feel of the harbour - lots going on, live piano music from a bar, plenty of places to have food/drinks, and we had a great icecream from a stall here. I sat on the benches down by the city walls for a while, to take in the atmosphere! Provides a great contrast to the little streets of... More

Constant noise and movement with all the tourist boats going in and out constantly. Good place to sit and rest as the cafes here are bit cheaper than the main street ones.

Aghast at the skyscraper 5000 passenger cruise liners in the large modern harbour, or walk along to the Old City harbour, with small fishing boats gentling bobbing on the waves. Visit one of the numerous restaurants nearby (the ones right on the harbour front being very expensive !), or buy an ice cream and stroll through the old city bordering... More

If like me you are into sailing, then go and spend a few hours drooling over the beauties moored in Dubrovnik harbour. Glamorous is an understatement. It's also a working harbour so many of the restaurants serve seafood dishes that blew me away. Probably one of my favourite places ever.

A nice walk from the hotel we were staying at. The harbor is picturesque and full of fishing boats as well as massive cruise liners, easily while away a few hours just people watching.

Lots of boats, cafes and restaurants - very touristy but has a happy feel to it. We enjoyed wandering around this area.

It's a beautiful harbor. Surrounded by the city walls on the side, it offers a true kodak family moment. Also, tons of restaurants surround it, so you can kick back, order a cold beer, and just enjoy the breeze for as long as your pretty soul desires.

Beautiful setting with lots of boat trips available . There are about 8 sales desks for the trips and its like running the gauntlet with their sales pitches
