Boat watching

Lovely place to watch the boats come and go while eating delicious ice cream in the sunshine. Fishermen and numerous pleasure craft coming and going will keep you amused.

There are good views around the city, with the Harbour entrance tending to be busy with boats and tourists. Maybe have a pizza here in the evening when it's a bit quieter. The forts and wall walk can be very strenuous, especially on a hot summer's day. There's a very little area for diving into the open water of the... More

This is where the boat trips start from for Lokrum, the glass-bottomed boats and trips to the other islands. In April it was exposed to the strong wind that was blowing during most of our stay so we didn't eat at any of the cafes here though many did. The cafes (like many in Dubrovnik) provide a blanket for your... More

The view is beautiful but there are so many people trying to get you to book tours that it can be a little disconcerting.

This place is divine on a sunny day, just nice to hang out, watching the world go by, with boats coming and leaving, fishermen at their nets, one feels one has been taken back 1000 years ago. The benches are all along the walls of the ancient city facing the Old Harbour so go there in the afternoon and enjoy... More

Charming atmosphere - grab a coffee and sit back for some people watching, or take your time over lunch. Take a boat trip, or the ferry to Lokrum for a walk in the woods and gardens?

This is a lovely place to enjoy the bustle of a working marina. Watch the fisherman mending their nets while sipping a latte or glass of wine.

The old harbour is very picturesque with a number of restaurants and also benches where you can watch the world go by and catch your breathe after some serious sight-seeing! Although we didn't take a boat trip, this is the place to pick up your glass bottomed excursions (10 euros for 45 minutes) and the 'three island cruises'.

We walked around on a beautiful sunny day. The boats were beautiful and the park was really nice.there is a small beach near the park with a lot of locals. There's are good cafés and bars as well. A very pleasant 2 to 3 hour excursion.

Great place to visit and relax after exploring the wall and the Old Town. We were there on a beautiful sunny day with the sun shimmering off the blue water and light breezes cooling us as well as powering numerous sailboats out on the bay.
