We had a drink at this whole through the wall little bar. The view is phenomenal overlooking an island. Service is quite slow, but who's in a hurry if you're overlooking paradise? They have no running water, but have the most beautiful view from their porta-potty :)! Definitely good for a beer!

You must find your way to this little gem of a place. It sits right on the water and is a perfect place to sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the beauty that surrounds Dubrovnik. There are some large rocks just below the balcony of the bar that you can sunbathe on while listening to the waves crash.

Walk around the inside of the city wall on the seaward side and you will come across a tiny opening in the wall with a sign saying "Cold drinks". The view from here is quite spectacular. We aren't big drinkers, but we bought some drinks just to sit and enjoy the amazing location, and were quite glad to have done this. There are quite a few stairs to access this cafe, plus you will want to explore, so it might not be the best venue for travelers with disabilities... More
