We took the three Island lunch picnic trip. The Islands were delightful and the lunch was absolutely superb. Just freshly caught and cooked Hake with coleslaw and tomato, but one of our best meals in Croatia. Accompanied by our captain singing Croation folks songs in a truly operatic voice. Great fun!!!

We hired a private boat to take us around and we were so happy we did. There are so many caves to snorkel and islands to visit we wish we had hired for the entire day and not a half day. There was a lot to see and the weather was perfect for our adventure. I really recommend taking the... More

There is a popular sandy beach (Sunj on Lopud) and also lots of little bays with varying ease of access to the sea. The islands have lots of footpaths, often partially shaded. Except for 1 mega hotel in Lopud, the buildings are in keeping with the islands.

I dont know which company we took the 3 islands tour with, but we payed 200 kuna each. After a very disappointing start to our day (went to port gruz to get a ferry for a day of hiking and canoeing on mljet - which was sold out - the annoying thing being you cant prebook tickets) we were wondering... We did this trip with the company Dubrovnik Boat Trips. We had a great day. We wished we had more time on the islands, but it gave us a good impression about the islandlife. The boattrip was very nice and the lunch was amazing! Very good fish and chicken. It really made our day! Recommend this company with the boat... More

Lovely islands but you don't get enough time on two islands to really have a look round. Lopud is the largest and you get 3 hours there but beware, it's not a 20 minute walk to the beach, it's uphill and a lot longer than that. If you are going in the summer the boat companies often overbook and you... More

A good way to spend a day is to buy a ticket at the harbour and devise your own three island trip. Really no need at all to buy a package deal touted all around the city. Take a taxi or bus to Lapad harbour, buy tickets from English speaking advisors in the ticket office and off you go. The... More

We did this on the 2nd day we got to Dubrovinic. We paid £20 for 2 people to spend the day visiting 3 islands, Kolocep, Sipan, Lopud. The first 2 stops, were for about an hour and the third just under 2 hours, we sat on the beach for all 3, thought it was too much effort and very little... More
