The old town is structurally magnificent although very touristy with heaps of cafes, bars and tourist shops. Having said that, there are so many old town streets to wonder through and explore... You won't get lost if you remember that the shape of the old town is like a horse shoe that will lead you back to the Centre. I... More

We loved the cleanliness and the fact that it seems clear the locals love their city and look after it. The market was great, full of local products with really friendly (not pushy) stall holders. A joy to spend time in.

Old town is pretty and lovely to wander around. There are restaurants everywhere, it is worth your time to search the side streets to find good deals and a restaurant of your choice. I would recommend keeping room for the ice cream!!! The Old town is beautiful and it's a relaxed way to spend an evening just pottering around the... More

Dubrovnik is one of the cutest cities in Croatia. It's very small, but Worth visiting if you are around.

Very much to see. Great ice creams:). A lot of history. Magnificant architecture. Take a tour guide to get as much information as possible about the place.

My favorite stop on our cruise to the Mediterranean. The bluest of waters. The old town charm of a single walled city that overcame adversity after an attack in the 1990s. Amazing. Lots of history and tons of little nooks and crannies to discover in the old town. Great history. Great shopping. Boat ride in the harbor was breathtaking. Boat... More

One of the ports we visited during our 12 day Mediterranean cruise was Dubrovnik, Croatia. We had heard so many people extoll the virtues of Old Town that it had a lot to live up to. Happily, I can say that between our visit to Old Town & the fairytale like beach town of Cavtat, our hopes were more than... More

The atmosphere is magic, so fashinating, full of shops, restaurants, bars and sightseeing on the seafront. Just a piece of advice. check the pricelist before sitting in a cafè. Some are exceedingly expensive, but there's a wide choice.
