A beautiful place to visit. Walk around the top of the wall, 1.2 miles. The views are breathtaking. Inside the old city there are restaurants and bars galore. It's a friendly place with much to do. Beware if you cannot climb steps, it may not be for you. Boat trips are plentiful and the views from the cable car are... More

The old town used as kings landing in game of thrones, narrow alleyways and small shops, cafes etc. cafes bit pricey on the main thoroughfare. Try the walnut cake - super

Lovely quaint old town. The main street is quite wide and there are many narrow side streets leading off it. There are plenty of good quality resraurants to dine in on the side streets. In wet weather the polishes surface on the streets can get a bit slippy so be careful when it is raining.

We stayed in Old Town for 10 days, although only spent one or two days actually IN Old Town itself. It really is a stunning place, and a must-see if you're in the area! Lots of narrow little streets with hidden restaurants and shops - take the day and get lost in among it all!

Being a warm day we decided to climb the stairs to the fortress wall walk early, and it was a great way to get our bearings. Every inch of that walk is a photo opportunity - we must have snapped 300 shots between the two of us. A magic place, a must see.

To walk on the walls of Dubrovnik is an emotional awe-inspiring experience. Blue sky,red tile roofs and that massive wall encircling Old Town, absolutely stunning. Oh, and then there's the Adriatic!

Unique place and well worth the visit. It can get a bit crowded when the cruise ships arrive. I expected Dubrovnik to be expensive but found the prices there quite reasonable - even the cafes in the main street, which are an obvious tourist trap, if there is going to be one.

Every corner of this old town is filled with hidden gems. One needs to walk down all the narrow alleys and discover all the pleasant surprises; museums, restaurants, cafeterias, boutiques, etc.
